What the judges said ...

  • Each participant can enter no more than one photo in the Challenge.
  • A photo can be used for a single Challenge only.
  • The photo must be submitted in digital jpeg and cannot exceed 5MB.
  • Photos can only be taken with Olympus and OM Digital Solutions cameras.
  • Photos can be digitally retouched if the essence of the image is not altered by the process.
  • OM Digital Solutions reserves the final decision as to whether or not the essence of the image was altered.
  • Photos with watermarks or other impress content (date, time, etc.) will not be considered for the Challenge.
  • Photos that infringe the Terms and Conditions of the MyOlympus website and services can be deleted by OM Digital Solutions without further notice.
  • All MyOlympus users can vote on the submitted photos.
  • From the photos with the most votes a jury will pick the winning photo based primarily on criteria including the technique of the shot, creativity, degree of performance in regard to the monthly theme, etc.

Contest's terms and conditions

For many of us, this is when the temperatures really start to rise and we see some interesting atmospheric effects. Sometimes these can spoil an image: heat haze for example. Other times heat can add some interest. Your challenge  is to show us some really varied images. The subject is your choice, all we ask is that you make it hot!
