We were on the island of Brava, in the Cape Verde archipelago, and took this amazing hike down to Fajã de Água, on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. On our way downhill, we went through a few abandoned stone villages that looked like there were pulled right out of one of the Lord of the Rings movies.
