  • Chapter 5: Flash

  • Remove the hot shoe cover

    Slide off the covers protecting the flash hot shoe and the Accessory Port.

  • Attach the flash unit

    Slide the flash unit all the way into the hot shoe to ensure it is securely attached to your camera.

  • Raise the flash head

    Raise the flash head to use the flash. Lower it when the flash is not in use. The flash will not work when it is lowered.

  • Remove the flash unit

    Press the UNLOCK button on the flash unit and remove it by sliding it back and out from the camera.
