What the judges said ...

I expected to have a lot of pictures of flowers, birds and insects and I figured it would be hard to choose from the submissions. One picture particularly appealed to me.
This pair of birds announcing the spring seized during a graceful moment, an efficient and dynamic composition with this budding branch balancing the image while bringing a touch of softness. A beautiful picture !

It finally smells a lot like spring and we are gently reminded how beautiful change can truly be. The days are growing longer, the first rays of sun are warming our skin, and the plants begin to blossom in the most beautiful colours again. Spring triggers so many positive feelings—it is a time of joy, colour, and the season for lovers. Just the mere thought of spring puts us in a good mood.
