This photograph conveys a real sense of anticipation – it encourages me to ponder does the tent contain adventurous climbers preparing to tackle the ominous mountains in the background at first light? The warmth of the tent contrasts well with the surrounding environment – an oasis of comfort in a forbidding landscape. Both the location and the illuminated tent convey a real sense of adventure and meet the brief of the contest most effectively.
