What the judges said ...

  • Each participant can enter no more than one photo in the COMPETITION.
  • A photo can be used for a single COMPETITION only.
  • The photo must be submitted in digital jpeg and cannot exceed 5MB.
  • Photos can only be taken with Olympus cameras.
  • Photos can be digitally retouched if the essence of the image is not altered by the process.
  • OLYMPUS reserves the final decision as to whether or not the essence of the image was altered.
  • Photos with watermarks or other impress content (date, time, etc.) will not be considered for the COMPETITION.
  • Photos that infringe the Terms and Conditions of the MyOLYMPUS website and services can be deleted by OLYMPUS without further notice.
  • All MyOLYMPUS users can vote on the submitted photos.
  • From the photos with the most votes a jury will pick the winning photo based primarily on criteria including the technique of the shot, creativity, degree of performance in regard to the monthly theme, etc.

We believe it’s never been more important to keep your creativity flowing, which is why for this month’s contest we’re challenging you to find new perspectives in a very familiar environment - your own home! Think beyond still life; perhaps a pet portrait, the view from your window or your latest baking experiment - look closer and there are plenty of photographic subjects to be found.
