Das Bild "The White Marble" von LuisVasconcelos besticht durch sein raffiniertes Spiel von Schärfe, Schärfenverlauf und Unschärfe. Durch den gezielten Einsatz dieser Stilmittel in Kombination mit einem Motiv, das wie im schwerelosen Raum wirkt und durch die Schärfenverläufe und das Bokeh an Tiefe und Dreidimensionalität gewinnt, schafft es der Fotograf, den Betrachter in eine andere Welt zu entführen. Die feinen Strukturen des Blattes verlaufen durch den geschickten Umgang mit der Schärfenebene in den Hintergrund und lösen sich fast vollständig in der Unschärfe auf. Das Bild ist gestalterisch wie technisch sehr gut umgesetzt und lässt erkennen, dass der Fotograf sich viele Gedanken um Motiv und Gestaltung gemacht hat.
The picture “The White Marble” by LuisVasconcelos captivates the eye due to its interplay between sharpness, the course of the sharpness and blur. The photographer manages to invite the observer into a different world by the application of these stylistic elements in combination with choosing a photo object that seems to be floating in an endless and weightless space and that gains depth and three-dimensionality due to the course of the sharpness and the bokeh. The fine structures of the leave run towards the background and nearly dissolve completely in the blur.
