  • Each participant can enter no more than one photo in the Challenge.
  • A photo can be used for a single Challenge only.
  • The photo must be submitted in digital jpeg and cannot exceed 5MB.
  • Photos can only be taken with Olympus and OM Digital Solutions cameras.
  • Photos can be digitally retouched if the essence of the image is not altered by the process.
  • OM Digital Solutions reserves the final decision as to whether or not the essence of the image was altered.
  • Photos with watermarks or other impress content (date, time, etc.) will not be considered for the Challenge.
  • Photos that infringe the Terms and Conditions of the MyOlympus website and services can be deleted by OM Digital Solutions without further notice.
  • All MyOlympus users can vote on the submitted photos.
  • From the photos with the most votes a jury will pick the winning photo based primarily on criteria including the technique of the shot, creativity, degree of performance in regard to the monthly theme, etc.

Contest's terms and conditions

As the days grow shorter for most of us, it is a chance to spend more time experimenting into the night. Use your imagination as the scope is wide. Whether it is silhouettes of birds against the twilight sky, light trails, light painting or a full star scape, the choice is yours.

Once again, your system offers some innovative features to help you get creative. If you have not tried before, have a go with Live Composite if it is available on your camera but also take advantage of the exceptional stabilisation to try slower speed shots.
