    Cuando las flores del rosal silvestre (rosa canina) han hecho su función, normalmente caen y es raro ver ejemplares en sus ramas. Pero las heladas tempranas, permiten esa permanencia en el arbusto, cuando pierden toda su agua y carotenoides y solamente queda lo que parece una flor disecada.
