  • Try to take this shot with a tripod and aperture 8
  • Many thanks, naplatki, for your visit and tip, which I appreciate and accept with interest. The problem, however, is finding the same environmental and light conditions. Would you like to clarify, please, what benefits would I gain by repeating the shot with your settings? Maybe are you referring to the sharpness of the tree bark? I would like to know, because there is always something to learn, also and especially from mistakes, and if something is wrong, why not correct it? Kind regards. Slight smile

  • Yes, my suggestion was that the entire trunk should be sharpened. I am not saying that this is a bug. Depending on the subject, I take several shots with different camera settings, and then choose the one that suits me. As for the light, you have to choose the right time of the day, or wait while observing the topic of our work. I would also suggest using a polarizing filter, then on the leaves, after the appropriate filter setting, the green would not turn white and would be more juicy.
  • Sorry if I wrote not grammatically, I know little English.
  • Thank you so much for your kind reply and availability. Very willingly I'll try to implement your suggestions, especially the one about the polarizing filter: what you say is very interesting and useful because the risk of burning the high lights is always lurking (I know something about it…Confused). I hope to improve my work more and more by following the advice of those who have more experience than me about this wonderful hobby. Many thanks again! Kind regards. P.S. - You don't have to apologise for your English: it's perfectly understandable! I don't write well either: my English is … Italianenglish! Slight smile
