Guten Nachmittag
Hope you had a good weekend and hopefully a dry one. Yes this has become a nice ritual over common ground and I will continue with this even if Germany beat us on penalties!. I do agree with you about the nonsense of consumerism and materialism, it's crazy now. One of our major mobile phone retailers is closing some shops due to customers holding onto their phones rather than upgrading, finally they realise it's not necessary!
A lot of our high streets and retailers are having to reinvent themselves or adapt due to the internet, is this the same in Germany?
