    Good Rob, you are certainly right that cropping an image can improve the image effect. I know it sounds "stuck" when I don't want to do this on principle. During my training as a photographer I had to deal with this subject extensively. For me, after mature experience, I have come to the conclusion that I prefer to shoot variations and choose one afterwards. Today I understand photographers who are also totally fixed in this respect and prefer to discard an image rather than tinker with it.
