.....auch City Palace genannt; in Udaipur am Pichola See in Indien - Rajasthan. Bauzeit ca. 400 Jahre. War für mich die schönste Überraschung der gesamten Reise.

  • Liebe mo-two, lieber Martin, ja das war schon eine besondere Stimmung bei dieser Aufnahme. Mir war Udaipur damals kein Begriff, daher war ich beim Anblick dieses majestätischen Bauwerks in absolut unvergleichlicher Lage am See regelrecht überwältigt. Beim Taj Mahal hat jeder schon mal Bilder in Reiseprospekten gesehen und hier war das nicht so. Übrigens wurden hier schon etliche Filme gedreht: James Bond (Oktopussy) oder "Der Tiger von Eschnapur" und "Das indische Grabmal". Der Filmverleih hatte einfach Udaipur durch Eschnapur ersetzt. Das wurde mir aber erst später klar. Die Filmleute wissen schon, wo es schön ist. Liebe Grüße Ulrich
