Die Blauflügel-Prachtlibelle lebt vor allem an kleinen bis mittelgroßen Bachläufen und anderen Fließgewässern. Diese zeichnen sich durch eine relativ niedrige Wassertemperatur sowie mäßige bis schnelle Strömung aus. Die Gewässer dürfen dabei nicht zu nährstoffreich (eutroph) sein. @Wikipedia
