Gartenrotschwänze waren früher häufige Besucher unserer Gärten. Doch gut aufgeräumte Gärten boten ihnen keinen geeigneten Schutz und wenig Nahrung. Das bewog sie zum Rückzug in Laub- und Mischwälder.
