Die Gestreifte Quelljungfer ist eine auffallend gefärbte Großlibelle, die als einzige Libellenart mitten im Wald fliegt und nur an Quellbächen und unscheinbaren Quellrinnsalen vorkommt. Die Art ist nur in Europa verbreitet.
