Derzeit gilt die Skorpionsfliege als ungefährdet – auch dank ihrer ausgeprägten Anpassungsfähigkeit. Bei der Ernährung sind die länglichen Insekten mit eher mäßigen Flugkünsten wenig wählerisch. Sie fressen sowohl reifes Obst, als auch tote oder verendende Insekten und Wirbeltiere. www.nabu.de

  • Vielen Dank, lieber Lutz, für dein Gefallen an der Skorpionsfliege. Ich entdecke sie sehr selten. Falls es doch einmal sein sollte, ist es problematisch sie ohne zu verscheuchen in guter Stellung abzulichten. Es ist anders als bei "normalen" Fliegen, die schon mal länger sitzen bleiben.
