Die Dunkle Kanarische Biene ist nach einer isolierten Entwicklung über viele Jahrtausende deutlich dunkler als die Westliche Honigbiene. Hier sucht sie (erfolgreich, wie man sieht) Nahrung an einem Rosetten-Dickblatt, das ein Winterblüher ist. Aufnahme vom Januar 2026 auf der Kanareninsel La Palma.
