View from Kuer-fell to the village of Äkäslompolo.

  • Landscape from Kuer fell to the small village of Äkäslompolo, which is surrounded by fells. Other fells are Kukas-, Lainio-, Kesänki-, Pyhä- and Aakennus-fell. The highest fell Ylläs rises from the village Äkäslompolo, which is on the north side of fell Ylläs and the village Ylläsjärvi in the south. Villages are connected by an 11 km road, around the side of the fell.
