Thanks for your last comments. I hope you had a good week and also a good weekend. It is a pity that liverpool didn't win yesterday and was a bit unlucky. On the other hand, it is a great achievement that they have come to the final.

Good morning from a very wet Birmingham. One month's rain in a day! Some parts of the city had it very bad with one includintharea under 5' of water, but we were lucky our side. We've had thunder storms during last two days as I see Germany has also I believe.
Thank you for the kind comments on my pictures. This is Llanberis high street in Snowdonia North Wales. Yes it's a pity about Liverpool but what a goal from Gareth Bale! Anyway, the world cup starts in 2 weeks as always one of our big electrical stores offers money back on any TV 55" or above if England progress into knockout stages...they know it's easy profit for them!

Good evening from also wet Germany. During the day here it is very muggy and in the evening, like now, it starts to rain and thunder storm. But mostly only local and for a short while.
Here it's the same with our electronics stores. That's the sick thing of our times. You don't buy something because it's old or broke but because you want the next bigger, better, what else ... thing.
I also had a good week(end) and this week is a "short week" because on Thursday there is a holiday and on Friday a so called "bridge day". So I'm looking forward to a long weekend. But that doesn't mean that there is not enough to do. It is already planned most of the time.
