Hermodice carunculata Diesen Jäger sollte man nicht anfassen, seine dünnen Borsten brechen leicht ab, sind giftig und brennen über mehrere Tage in der Haut. Er selbst hat daher kaum Feinde (außer z.B. Krabben) und ernährt sich von Korallen, Nesseltieren, Krustenanemonen aber auch Aas.
