Sizilien im August 2018. Der Klimawandel führte nahezu täglich zu starken Gewittern und Niederschlägen, was für diese Jahreszeit ungewöhnlich ist. Ende August ist der Vulkan Etna, der allüberragend die Landschaft im Nordosten der Insel bestimmt, mit starken Eruptionen ausgebrochen.
