This is exactly the sunset view that King Minos of Knossos and his brother King Rhadamanthys of Phaistos would have enjoyed in ancient Crete. It certainly is the beach of Komos, within a short distance from the Palace of Phaistos and Hagia Triada site, the summer resort of King Minos.
