... so hatte der Bildhauer Paul Halbhuber 1981 den Mühlenstein genannt. Dieser und die daran angebrachte Bronze des Müllers, der einen schweren Sack hievt, sollten an die Delmenhorster Mühle erinnern, die an jener Stelle gestanden hatte, wo jetzt das Postgebäude in der Mühlenstr. steht.
