Die steilen Berghänge im Himalaya verströmen eine grosse Ruhe. Sie überträgt sich auf die wenigen Wasservögel auf dem zugefrorenen Gokyo-See, und in gleichem Masse auf den Betrachter. Die fast vertikalen Linien der Bergflanke stehen im Kontrast zur horizontalen Öffnung im Eis.
