    Did you know, that Cartier-Bresson never cropped? He would rather dismiss a wonderful and sharp image, if it did not fit into the 3:2 format naturally! I do it the same way; 90 % of my pictures I throw away ....
  • C-B nor any 'great figure' for me never leads a stairway to heaven because he thinks so? every assumption is always tiltable and never defensible to the finite.. there is no 1 way, there are many.

    Who said, Bresson being the measure of all things and all other views therefore being nonsensical? I named Bresson because you know his work and if you also know, that he consciously composes into the 3:2 format, then that is a completely different approach than not wanting to commit yet when you are shooting. And I let you know that I do the same! Let's not argue, please, just read my positioning a little more carefully in future!
