My view of the New Year's sunset in Dimitrovgrad, a Socialist town. The city's construction began in 1947. Most of the labour was done by youth volunteers who arrived from around Bulgaria. It's a planned town as a new industrial centre and it's named after Georgi Dimitrov, the former head of state.
