Boom Lake is North of Banff, Alberta Canada. We are looking over Boom Lake (just out of shot) to the top of the mountain range dividing Canada and British Columbia. I brought the trees into view rather than the lake as the lake was frozen and featureless, and the tree roots added more meaning.
