Die Glanzstare sind mit ihrem glänzenden Blau meine liebsten afrikanischen Vögel. Im Senegal werden sie "Blau-Metallic-Vögel genannt". Hier in Tansania gibt es sie in einer weiteren Variante mit einem Ocker/Orangeton, die besonders auffällig ist. Aufnahme im Ngorongoro Krater.
