Gemäß http://www.insektenbox.de/zweifl/rhinle.htm könnte es sich um eine Fliege aus der Familie der Asselfliegen handeln. Die Fliegen sind vollständig schwarz gefärbt. Bei den Männchen befindet sich auf dem 3. und 4. Segment jeweils eine unterbrochene, weißlich bereifte Vorderrandsbinde.
