Der Balkenschröter (Dorcus parallelipipedus), auch Zwerghirschkäfer genannt, ist ein Käfer aus der Familie der Schröter (Lucanidae). Seine kräftigen Kiefer sind scharf und sogar in der Lage, menschliche Haut zu durchdringen. (Kommentar aus Wikipedia). Ich hatte durchaus Respekt vor seinen Zangen.
