Die Honigbiene (Apis mellifera) ist etwas ganz besonderes: Sie kann nur im Verband existieren und überleben. Eine einzeln gehaltene Honigbiene wird trotz bester Haltung und Pflege schon nach kurzer Zeit sterben, denn sie benötigt den sozialen Kontakt mit ihren Artgenossen. @Nabu
