Am Ende ihrer Raupenentwicklung hat die Raupe ihre charakteristische grün-orange Färbung angenommen. Obwohl sie auffällig aussieht, ist sie so perfekt in ihrer Umgebung getarnt und kann nur sehr selten in der Natur entdeckt werden.
