Die Kleine Zangenlibelle ist eine mittelgroße Libelle mit einer Flügelspannweite von 5,5 bis 7,5 Zentimetern. Die Männchen besitzen wie alle Zangenlibellen große, zangenförmige Hinterleibsanhänge, die bei dieser Art meist schwarz gefärbt sind. @Wikipedia
