Aufnahme am Mittellauf des Okawango in Namibia. In der Nähe der Rainbow River Lodge bei Divundu..Der überaus scheue Vogel kommt nur im südlichen Afrika vor, ist aber im Bestand nicht gefährdet. Hier hält er sich im dunklen Unterholz auf, mehr als 1/60 war nicht drin.
