I asked her what was the first thing that came in to her mind when thinking of Belgium. No, not the Smurfs! or, bizarrely, the very good Belgium beer! but, yes you've guessed it, so we just had to go in to quite a few of Brussels' myriad of chocolate shops to sample their wares :).
