I like the stairs as they direct the view along the houses into the background of the picture. That gives a very nice depth. The high contrast emphasizes the structure and textures.
Congratulations for reaching the semifinal. I think everything is possible now after the penalty-wonder. Now the new tv with money back guarantee would have been worth it? :-)
