autumn comes to Bolehill Quarry

MyOMSYSTEM picture description and tags
Bolehill Quarry is part of a set of quarries that provided millstones and much of the stone to build the famous series of Derbyshire Dams used by the 'Dambusters' to practice using Barnes-Wallis's bouncing bomb. Overgrown by Birch trees now it is a great spot to find autumnal fungi.
