The modernized trains of the type T6M-700 were produced from 2006 in Sofia, by the company Tramcar. For over 100 years, trams had been produced in Bulgaria's capital, but recently, mostly foreign models were rebuilt, and some also run on Sofia's streets. And many are old ones from other countries.
