I had been walking on one of the gritstone edges in the Peak District in the hope of seeing Ring Ousel - but this little Sonechat seemed quite happy to have his photo taken instead. I spent 30 minutes watching him feed and then perching above the heather to sing for a mate - as he did on this rock
