  • Hi Josh, thank you for the kind comment. This species is very common in my small urban garden on black knapweed, the adults are a little like shield bugs and seem to love basking in the sun on the upper surfaces of the leaves, often near where the petiole joins the main stem. The larvae leave characteristic marks on the leaves and can be found by looking under the damaged leaves. Good luck with your search, post some pictures if you are successful.
