Sofia's central mosque was built by the famous Ottoman architect Mimar Sinan (1566) when the city was part of the Ottoman empire. It's 'many baths' in English but in Turkish, Banyo means bath. Baş (Bash) is 'head' or 'main', so 'Head of the bath mosque' would fit as it sits on an old thermal spa.
