MyOMSYSTEM picture description and tags
Owl midges (Psychodidae), also known as moth flies, are tiny moth-like flies associated with damp ground and drains. They are true flies (Diptera), i.e. they only have 1 pair of wings. The fly was moving so it was very difficult to get a shot that had most of the fly in focus. Ring flash was used.
