  Stunning! In my opinion, trees can not be photographed more pristine and close to nature; this is clearly a 5 star photo for me. I hope that you "evaluators" also recognize this. Rob, there is no reason to "ingratiate" me with you, but I can acknowledge without envy that you have succeeded here a really big throw! You have continued exactly where the classics like Edward Westen, Paul Strand, Albert Renger-Patzsch (to name just a few great), have left off. I'm really curious whether the others recognize the depth of the composition

  thank you M. I have to search for words to regather and thank you, what you say. I was lucky enough to be there at the right time and that the 12-40mm lens had this composition in range in this setting. That was a blessing. I am very happy with the photo and especially that these creatures were positioned in such a way that this became possible. Trees have been a great companion all my life. Like the word pristine you use. Your reaction brings a lot of sunshine today, what will continue for a lifetime, thanks mate !
