    Some plants, such as the pictured Amorphophallus dactylifer, perfectly mimic three-dimensional lichens on the leaf stalk. Form and color is used to create the visual impression of a small solid lichen covered trunk. Do not eat me, do not run against me. The fly makes it look outworldish.
