Am schwarzen Sandstrand von Reynisfjara auf Island donnern unentwegt gewaltige Wellen herein, die Brandung ist sehr gefährlich und hat schon einige Touristen in bedrohliche Situationen gebracht. Und diese Brandung nagt an den ursprünglich eckigen Basaltsäulen und rundet sie ab: Brandungserosion.
