  • Yes, that's right, measured against the old analog films, this number would not have come about because the films were not exactly cheap to buy. Then there was the development and every photo you wanted. My first negative films from the late 1970s had been stained for years. Digital is better and what you don't like immediately after taking the picture is simply deleted. On the other hand, it also leads to quantitative photography.
