Honored that this picture has received a Honorable Mention in the Prestigious International " Monochrome Photography Awards" in Professional Photojournalism Category. Visiting the Auschwitz Memorial concentration & extermination camp was one of my hardest life and photographic experience.

  • For the record, i tried to remain focused all day long on my photography work.

    I explored every single part of the camps, trying to capture what i felt.

    At around 4:00 p.m, as i was standing alone at the far camp limits, i couldn’t stand anymore all the horrors i saw from the morning.

    Suddenly my body collapsed. I put all my gear on the floor…and cried.
