  • to me, a title expresses something extra, a key in words, additional to the visual work. Titles can even change sometimes. They add a 2nd layer to the picture, also stand om itself. The sound, the words, the rhythm even, might bring one into a state of mind. But always a pity if someone then shoots into memories, associations, because then most of the time one is trapped again in de mind(f**k) and not in the here and Now. Titles also adds some melody, poem, sound and energy towards the picture. As names also do. I didn't think of the names for my children.. They presented itself in me, als if they were already present, born too. And I I am not even interested to find out were they stand for..
