There we were, making our dream come true, diving on the Great Barrier Reef, when I spotted this reef annelid, the Christmas tree worm, Spirobranchus giganteus. I photographed it using an Olympus Tough! TG-5 and had to do it carefully, because the animal would hide inside its tube when I swam past!
